After experiencing the unpredictable weather in Tibet,
I decided to develop a biodegradable, waterproof material.
The remarkable water-repellent ability of the lotus leaf
inspired me. Through experiments exploring the properties
behind the lotus leaf effect, I was motivated to create a
wearable piece. Its form emulates the lotus leaf’s
microstructure. In addition, the design incorporates the
outcomes of my experiments.
